For more than a century, 2423 Seneca Street has been part of the South Buffalo neighborhood—a place where generations have gathered, celebrated, and made lasting memories.
Now, we’re restoring this historic bar for its next chapter. Our goal is to preserve what made Daly’s special while creating a welcoming gathering place built for the years ahead.
Together, we bring more than 30 years of hospitality experience in Buffalo and a shared belief that a great neighborhood bar is more than a business. It is where people connect and community comes together.

The Vision
JJ Daly’s is rooted in more than 30 years of Buffalo hospitality experience and a shared commitment to the city, the neighborhood, and the people who have made South Buffalo what it is.
Justin and Jake (J & J in the new namesake) are restoring 2423 Seneca Street as a welcoming neighborhood bar that honors its history while creating a place for new memories, celebrations, and traditions.
The Name
JJ Daly’s pays tribute to the original Daly’s and the history of this longtime South Buffalo gathering place.
The name also marks a new chapter led by Justin and Jake—the J and J behind JJ Daly’s—as they restore the bar and carry its legacy forward.
The restoration of 2423 Seneca Street is about more than reopening a bar. It’s about bringing back a neighborhood gathering place: somewhere to meet friends, catch up with familiar faces, celebrate the big days, and stop in simply because it feels like where you’re supposed to be.
There’s plenty of work ahead before the doors open. We’re taking it one step at a time, doing it right, and looking forward to sharing the process along the way.
